Shipping & Returns

Shipping

  • Many orders are shipped same business day.
  • Same day shipping is NOT guaranteed - some orders may take 1-3 days or even longer to ship out.
  • If same day shipping is required, contact us prior to placing the order to verify stock levels and shipping options.
  • Special order or back-ordered items are usually shipped within 1-2 weeks.
  • Delays may occur while your shipment is in transit. For example:
    • Bad weather conditions
    • Delivery to rural areas
    • Cross border / customs hold for inspection
  • We ship worldwide (except countries with a high fraud profile).
  • We do not process, ship or deliver orders on weekends and American / Canadian public holidays.
  • Shipping price consists of actual shipping cost, fuel surcharge, packaging materials & order handling.
  • Local pickup is currently available only at our Toronto, ON, Canada location. Phone confirmation is required in advance.

Returns / Exchanges

  • Unwanted parts may be returned for refund within 15 calendar days (30 days for orders outside USA / Canada).
  • Products must be in new or like new condition to qualify for return. Some parts do not quality for return once installed.
  • Products with physical damage caused by return shipping do not qualify for return / refund, but you may be able to file a claim with the shipping company.
  • A 25% fee will be deducted from your refund amount to cover processing & product restocking / testing.
  • Products that are defective on arrival (DOA) or fail during the warranty period can be exchanged.
  • All returns must be pre-authorized by requesting an RMA number, which is valid for 30 days.
  • Selected categories of products are sold on a non-return basis. These products cannot be returned for refund, but defective products may be exchanged for an identical product within the warranty period. Beyond warranty exchange, the product will become your properly, which you may use or resell at your discretion. These categories are:
    • Major parts (ex. motherboards, video cards, LCD screens, CPUs, RAM, HDDs, optical drives)
    • Consumable parts (ex. batteries, ink/toner cartridges)
    • Complete units (ex. computers, projectors, printers)
    • Software (ex. recovery discs)
  • We guarantee compatibility of parts only if a valid unit serial number is provided with the order.

Compatibility Guarantee

  • We are proud to be one of very few parts distributors to offer a compatibility guarantee.
  • To qualify, you must provide your product model number or serial number / SNID when placing the order.
  • One of our technical specialists will review the compatibility and alert you if the replacement part you ordered may not be compatible with your product.
  • This is a valuable service we provide free of charge to increase customer satisfaction and you are encouraged to use it.
  • Restrictions:
    • North American (USA, Canada, Mexico) & Latin American units only.
    • Acer, Toshiba, eMachines & Gateway brands only.

Special Order Items

A special order item is a part that we do not normally stock. It may take us a few days to receive a special order item in our distribution facility, at which point we can ship it to you.

Shipping Service Descriptions

  • Regular
    • Estimated delivery time is 3-10 business days for USA / Canada and 1-6 weeks for all other destinations.
    • Tracking number (if available) is provided upon request. Some shipments will have NO tracking number, which is a limitation of this shipping method.
    • There is NO on-time guarantee with this shipping method and we cannot accept claims about the speed of this service.

  • Expedited
    • Estimated delivery time is 2-5 business days for continental USA / Canada and 5-8 business days for all other destinations.
    • Tracking number is provided upon request.

  • FedEx Ground
    • Estimated delivery time is 2-7 business days for continental USA / Canada. FedEx Ground is not available for all other destinations.
    • Tracking number is provided upon request.

  • FedEx Express
    • Estimated delivery time is 1-3 business days for continental USA / Canada depending on service speed selected and 5-8 business days for all other destinations.
    • Tracking number is provided upon request.

Shipping Liability

  • Shipping is done on a best effort basis. Shipping and delivery dates provided are estimates only.
  • Shipping charges for the original order are not refundable.
  • Replacement orders are shipped using regular ground service. You may upgrade the shipping service to expedited (if available to your destination) for an additional fee.

  • Orders shipped to continental USA / Canada

    • If the order was shipped incorrectly (significantly not as described or wrong quantity), we will pay for regular ground shipping of a replacement order as well as reimburse you for regular return shipping.
    • If the order contains DOA (Dead On Arrival) items and you want us to replace it, we will pay for regular ground shipping of a replacement order as well as reimburse you for regular return shipping.
    • If the order contains DOA (Dead On Arrival) items and you don't want a replacement, we will pay or reimburse you for regular ground return shipping.
    • DOA items must be reported within 15 calendar days. DOA / defective items are subject to inspection by our technicians when returned.
    • If return defective items for replacement after 15 calendar days, but within the warranty period, we will pay for regular ground shipping of a replacement order. Return shipping is your responsibility.
    • If you return unwanted or incorrectly ordered items, return shipping is your responsibility.

  • Orders shipped outside continental USA / Canada

    • If the order was shipped incorrectly (significantly not as described or wrong quantity), we will pay for regular shipping (1-6 weeks) of a replacement order. Return shipping is your responsibility.
    • For all other cases, including warranty replacements, shipping charges are your responsibility.
  • Warranty coverage is 30 to 90 days for most products. In some cases, warranty upgrades may be available if requested at the time of original purchase.

Pricing Errors

We carefully check our prices, but may unintentionally publish a wrong price online or in print. We do reserve the right to cancel orders containing wrong prices. A typical example of a wrong price is a $499 computer listed for $4.99.

Order Modifications

  • If you wish to modify your existing order, please notify us as soon as possible!
  • When we receive your request, we will make a reasonable attempt to make the requested change - you will be notified of the status of your request by e-mail or phone.
  • There are no additional processing charges for order modifications.

Order Cancellations

  • If you wish to cancel your existing order, please notify us as soon as possible!
  • Orders can be cancelled before the processing stage without penalty.
  • Orders can be cancelled in the processing stage for $10 fee.
  • Orders released to shipping cannot be cancelled, but some orders may be returned after you receive it.
  • Orders containing non-return and special order items cannot be cancelled.

Duplicate Orders

We screen for duplicate orders as a courtesy (and may notify you about an order that matches the criteria - placed within a few days of each other & containing the same item or items), but ultimately it is your responsibility to notify us about a duplicate order.

Alternate / Substitute Parts

It is an industry practice to automatically supply a substitute part if the exact part you ordered is not available. Substitute parts are original / genuine factory parts, but are manufactured by a different vendor. Examples of vendors:

  • AC adapters: Delta, Lite-On, HiPro, Sanken
  • Battery packs: Sanyo, Simplo, Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, LG
  • LCD screens: Samsung, LG, AUO, CMO, Toshiba, Sharp, Hitachi
  • CD/DVD/Blu-ray drives: Sony/NEC, LG/Hitachi, Toshiba/Samsung
  • Hard disc drives (HDD): Seagate, Western Digital, Hitachi, Toshiba
  • Keyboards: Darfon, Chicony, Sunrex, Jing Mold

Alternate / substitute parts have the same or better specifications compared to an exact replacement.

Note: if your application requires an exact replacement part or you are simply not willing to accept an alternate / substitute part, please mention it in the order notes!

Corporate or VIP customers

You may have an agreement or contract with us which overrides the policies outlined above.
